At Gaia Yoga, we are committed to creating a space of wellness, empowerment, and community by offering a variety of yoga classes for all levels of experience. Our studio, located in Richmond, CA, is dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment where students can come to practice yoga, relax, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Our Story
Gaia Yoga was born in January of 2018 after instructor Martina Chavez-Young acquired the studio from Mindful Life Yoga. Our studio was built on the principles of social justice, and we continue to grow and bloom to this day. Our mission is to MOVE students in thought, speech, and action through the practice of yoga. We believe that yoga is not just a physical practice, but a way to amplify the voices of marginalized communities, disrupt systems of oppression, and act with revolutionary love.
Our Classes
We offer a range of classes to suit all levels and interests. From vigorous Vinyasa flows to gentle Restorative relaxation, our classes are designed to challenge, nourish, and inspire our students. Our expert instructors bring a unique teaching style and expertise centered in mindfulness, meditation, movement, and holistic health. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, we have a class that's right for you.
