Empowering Children and Families Through Quality Mental Health Care
Our Mission and Values
At Children's Center, our mission is to serve children, youth, and families through comprehensive community-based mental health services. We are committed to serving all children in need within our resources. Our ultimate goal is for every child and family in Clark County to have access to mental health services. We believe that every child deserves mental healthcare, and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.
Our History
Children's Center was founded in 1989 by a group of concerned citizens who were astounded by the incredible wait-times that vulnerable children and families faced for mental health services. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Today, we provide a range of services to children, adolescents, and their families, including mental health programs, school-based mental health programs, and child sexual abuse treatment programs.
