At Espinosa Vineyards, we're a family-owned and operated vineyard in Escondido, North San Diego County, with a passion for growing wine and sharing it with enthusiasts like you. Our story began after the 2007 San Diego Firestorm, when we discovered that William Winn first planted vines on our property in 1893. Today, we're proud to offer a unique wine tasting experience that combines our rich history with our commitment to quality and sustainability.

Our Philosophy

Our niche is balanced wine made from grapes that are native to Spain. We make 100% of our wines from grapes that we grow at our vineyard in Escondido, as well as from grapes we source from some of the finest wine-growing regions in California. We're dedicated to crafting small-lot, single-vineyard wines that showcase the unique characteristics of our terroir. With a background in microbiology and a love for all things delicious, our winemaker Roberto uses science and intuition to create wines that are both complex and approachable.

Our Services

We invite you to visit us at our picturesque vineyard, where you can enjoy wine tastings, glasses, and bottles of wine in a serene and natural setting. Our outdoor seating area is surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines, providing a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a relaxing afternoon with friends and family. We also accommodate groups of up to 10 people with reservations, and larger groups and private parties can be scheduled in advance outside of regular business hours. Feel free to bring your picnic and snacks, and don't forget to pack up your trash and take it with you.
