WASUP Yoga is a unique community that has been offering stand-up paddleboard yoga classes in Seattle for over a decade. Our story began in 2011 when we first set up shop in beautiful Shilshole Bay, nestled between Ballard and Magnolia. As we celebrate our 12th year in 2023, we are humbled by the growth and evolution of our community. Our studio is situated in a stunning location, surrounded by the beauty of nature, where we are often visited by harbor seals and great blue herons. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land and water of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present, and we honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
At WASUP Yoga, we believe in the power of yoga and the importance of connection with nature. Our experienced and passionate teachers have diverse backgrounds in yoga and fitness, and they are dedicated to guiding students on a journey of balance, wellness, and bliss. We value community and understand the positive impact that simple, direct action can have on our community. That's why we donate a portion of our proceeds to Noel House programs and Yoga Behind Bars, expanding the quality of life for homeless women and the incarcerated.
