For over 81 years, Steel Strong Community Federal Credit Union has been dedicated to serving the financial needs of our members. Our history dates back to 1942, when we first began as a credit union for the employees of the Irvin Works Mill. Today, we have grown and expanded to include a wider membership base, while maintaining our commitment to providing exceptional service and personalized attention to each of our valued members.

Who We Serve

We are proud to serve a diverse community of individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in specific areas of Pennsylvania. Our membership includes residents of the townships of Elizabeth or Forward, the boroughs of Braddock, Dravosburg, Jefferson Hills, Lincoln, North Braddock, or West Mifflin, and the city of Clairton. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all members, ensuring that everyone feels supported and informed about their financial options.

Our Locations

We have two convenient locations available for our members. Our main branch is situated within the facilities of The Mon Valley Works - Irvin Plant in West Mifflin, PA, and our second branch is located in the Swiss Alpine Village in Elizabeth, PA. Both locations offer a range of services, from personal banking to mortgage and loan options, all designed to meet the unique needs of our members.
