About Mount Ida Reserve
Mount Ida Reserve is a destination within Charlottesville, offering a unique combination of small-batch wines, masterfully constructed event venues, luxury getaway rentals, and country estates. Our Tasting Room & Taphouse is situated atop our 5,000-acre reserve and offers both a brewery and vineyard experience within the campus of our restaurant. Our story began with our cattle, and our motif of two bulls reflects this heritage. With space to grow, we became one of southern Albemarle's first full-scale wedding venues at Mount Ida Manor. The growth continued, adding our Turkey Run neighborhood, three additional wedding venues, and finally our Tasting Room + Taphouse, established in 2018. We remain a fully-operational farm, with all of these elements and many more.
