Nestled in a quiet valley at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mountain & Vine Vineyards and Winery in Faber, Virginia invites you to come and experience the beauty of our estate. Our vineyard is nestled in the heart of the Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA), a region renowned for its unique terroir and world-class wines.

History and Philosophy

Our story began in 2000 when the current owners, Michael and Adrienne Albers, purchased the winery. With a deep passion for winemaking and a commitment to traditional methods, they set out to create award-winning wines that would showcase the best of Virginia's grape-growing regions. Our winemaker, Stephen Barnard, brings years of experience and expertise to the table, ensuring that every bottle is carefully crafted to showcase the unique flavors and characteristics of our estate-grown grapes.

We offer a wide range of wines, from classic Merlot to unique blends like our Screaming Hawk Meritage, which recently took home the Governor's Cup award. Visit our tasting room and experience the beauty of our terraced vineyards while sampling some of the best Virginia has to offer.

Farm Friends

Meet our two trusty farm dogs, Buck and Buck Jr., who work tirelessly to protect our grapes from predators. These lovable companions are always happy to meet new friends and might even steal a few snacks along the way.
