Our History

WBRT Federal Credit Union was organized in 1958 and federally chartered in 1959 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Over the years, we have grown to serve a diverse group of individuals and families in our community, including employees of the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board, members of New Poplar Grove Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, students in grades 1st - 12th attending the West Baton Rouge Parish School System, employees of the West Baton Rouge Parish Council and Sheriff Department, City of Port Allen, Town of Brusly, and Town of Addis, and members of the Cohn High Alumni Association.

How to Join

Joining WBRT Federal Credit Union is easy. Just complete a membership application card and deposit $5.00 into a share account. You will need to provide two forms of identification such as a driver's license, non-driver's identification card, or social security card.

Board of Directors and Staff

Our Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated individuals who are committed to serving our members. They include Dwain Hall - Chairman, Frank Hannan - Vice Chairman, Angella Johnson - CEO, Louise Stewart - Secretary, Grady Edwards - Director, Oretha Fields - Director, and Richarda Jones - Director. Our staff is also dedicated to providing you with the best service possible, led by our CEO, Angella Johnson.
