Bridgehaven provides the highest quality community based psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery services, education, and support to those living with mental illness. Founded in 1958, the organization started with three clients and two staff, but has since grown to offer programs up to six days a week for over 500 members annually. With a diverse team of Licensed Professional Art Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Advanced Practice Nurses, Licensed Professional Counselors, Peer Specialists, and administrative staff, Bridgehaven helps individuals with psychiatric problems outside a hospital setting achieve recovery and community integration goals. Through individual, person-centered rehab planning, members are assisted in setting and achieving recovery and community integration goals. Bridgehaven members come here with a variety of diagnoses, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychotic or other disorders.
