Our Story

Mark, a native of Rhode Island, has a passion for food and a love for New England. After graduating from the Connecticut Culinary Institute, he honed his craft at local upscale and fine dining restaurants, including Newport Restaurant Group, Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant, and Centro Bar and Lounge. He took that experience and started 401 Gourmet in 2017, with a mission to provide stunning local seasonal menus and dishes to clients across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Our kitchen staff are professionally trained and have experience working in casual and upscale restaurants around the New England area. They are committed to preparing and serving food of the highest integrity with taste and presentation always in the forefront. Our service staff are equally trained and experienced in fine dining and upscale catering service, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly.
