Fortino Winery

Fortino Winery is a family-owned and operated winery that has been a staple in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 50 years. Founded in 1970 by Ernest and Marie Fortino, the winery has been passed down through generations of the Fortino family. Our story began when Ernest and Marie purchased a vineyard that had been growing since the early 1930s. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our operations, but our commitment to producing high-quality wines and providing exceptional customer service has remained the same.

Our Services

At Fortino Winery, we take pride in offering a wide range of services to cater to our customers' needs. Our Tasting Room is open from Tuesday to Sunday, where you can taste our selection of white, red, sparkling, and fruit wines. Our knowledgeable staff are happy to guide you through the tasting experience and answer any questions you may have.

We also offer private events and wine club memberships. Our wine club is designed to allow members to enjoy exclusive benefits, including member-only special events, discounts, and priority access to our new releases. Our events team, led by Director of Events and Marketing, Esther Olivares, specializes in creating unforgettable experiences for weddings, private parties, and corporate events.

Meet the Team

At Fortino Winery, we have a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about producing high-quality wines and providing exceptional customer service. Our team includes:

• Gino Fortino, Owner and Winemaker, who has been perfecting and crafting our Carignan wine and signature red blend, Maribella, since taking over the winery from his father in 1995.
• Nicolas Fortino, Assistant Winemaker, who brings a fresh and new perspective to the business and is actively involved in all aspects of winemaking.
• Esther Olivares, Director of Events and Marketing, who is dedicated to building relationships with clients and helping them execute the event of their dreams.
• Dawn Jackson, Operations and Wine Club Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the winery and manages the wine club.
