Who We Are

Mint Valley Federal Credit Union has a rich history that spans over eight decades. Our story began on November 16, 1936, when we opened our doors as Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. Longview Pulp Division Employees Federal Credit Union, starting with 14 founding members. Our goal was then as it still is now: to provide members a financial space to accumulate their savings, and serve as a source of loans so they could finance their dreams. In 2001, we transitioned our name to Mint Valley Federal Credit Union to better reflect the community and members we continue to serve. In 2004, we became a community charter, granting credit union membership to anyone who lives, worships, works in, or attends school in Cowlitz County.
