Aim and Focus Karate is a martial arts school dedicated to teaching traditional Tang Soo Do and Aikido. Our school is located in Austin, Texas, and we have been serving the community for many years. Our mission is to help our students develop peaceful confidence that will benefit them both in their martial arts practice and in their daily lives.

Our Programs

At Aim and Focus Karate, we offer a range of programs to suit students of all ages and abilities. Our Junior Belts program is designed for beginners and includes White and Orange Belts. This program helps students develop the fundamentals of martial arts, including basic techniques, discipline, and respect. Our Senior Belts program is for more advanced students and includes Green and Red Belts. Students in this program continue to build upon their skills and knowledge, while also serving as positive role models for junior students. Our Black Belt program is for our highest-ranking students, who exemplify our values and training for other students.

Pyong Ahn: Peaceful Confidence

A fundamental concept in our school is Pyong Ahn, or peaceful confidence. We believe that developing inner peace and confidence is essential for success in all areas of life. Through the practice of martial arts, we help our students cultivate this inner strength. While physical martial art skills may fade over time, the inner confidence that students develop can persist for the rest of their lives. These are the life lessons we strive to teach at Aim and Focus Karate.

A Family Environment

At Aim and Focus Karate, we believe that martial arts is a family activity. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can train and grow together. Our instructors are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

Our Instructors

Our school is led by Master Ben Johnson, a highly experienced and respected martial artist. Master Johnson has dedicated his life to the study and teaching of Tang Soo Do, and he is committed to providing the best possible instruction to his students. We are also fortunate to have Christopher S. Field, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Aikido, who provides instruction in this martial art.
