Where every bite is a journey of flavor and discovery

La Noisette Sweets, situated in Berkeley, is a labor of love founded by Alain Shocron. Influenced by his Mediterranean and Parisian upbringing, Alain crafts pastries, cakes, and breads that are a testament to his childhood memories and professional experience as a pastry chef. Established in Berkeley, La Noisette offers a delightful selection of pastries, viennoiseries, tarts, breads, and cakes for all occasions. The pursuit of perfection is evident in the flavors of Alain's baked goods, as each item tells a story that can only be experienced at first bite.

About Alain

Alain Shocron, the mastermind behind La Noisette Sweets, discovered his love for cooking at a young age, learning from his mother in Morocco. After moving to Spain and later to Paris and Montreal, Alain's passion for culinary arts remained a constant influence in his life. He eventually pursued formal cooking classes, where he developed a particular affinity for desserts and pastries, especially French pastries. Alain's dedication to his craft led him to create 10,000 desserts from scratch for formal events and perfect his skills for small-scale private parties, weddings, and showers. With a focus on flavor, ingredients, and imagination, Alain strives to make each cake, pastry, or sweet the most memorable first bite.

La Noisette Sweets: A Culinary Fusion

La Noisette Sweets is a reflection of Alain Shocron's North African and European heritage, blending childhood memories, professional experiences, and a fascination with the intricacies of flavor. Alain's baked goods tell a unique story with each bite, combining the nostalgia of his past and his dedication to authentic, high-quality ingredients.
