Sharing the joy of baking, one recipe at a time.
A Baking Journey of Growth, Lessons, and Deliciousness
Flour & Co. started as a dream - to share my love for baking and creating delicious, wholesome treats with the wonderful community of San Francisco. It was an incredible journey filled with flour-dusted fingers, the warmth of fresh-baked goods, and the delight of connecting with fellow sweet tooths.
While the chapter at our physical bakery has closed, the sweet memories and lessons learned remain. I realized that running a business comes with a sacrifice, and my heart yearned for a better work-life balance. With a growing family, I knew I needed to prioritize family and personal fulfillment alongside the demands of entrepreneurship.
What I learned at Flour & Co.My time at Flour & Co. taught me invaluable lessons. I learned the importance of:
- Balancing work and life: It's a constant struggle, but setting boundaries and prioritizing rest are crucial for sustainable happiness and success.
- The power of community: The support and loyalty of our customers were invaluable.
- The importance of finding joy in the simple things: Baking is more than just a profession, it's a passion filled with joy and satisfaction.
- The value of personal growth: My experiences forged me into the individual I am today, and I'm eternally grateful for the lessons learned.
