Our journey began with the passion of our founder, Beth, who decided to shift her focus from savory cooking to the art of pastry-making after completing the prestigious California Culinary Academy's patisserie and baking program. Beth's experience in fine restaurants and catering companies honed her skills, and she eventually landed a coveted pastry position at the Four Seasons Seattle. It was there that she discovered her true calling in creating beautiful and delicious desserts. Upon returning to the Bay Area, Beth teamed up with long-time friends Sarah Nasgovitz and Tim Carlon to launch Stella Nonna, a popular restaurant in Berkeley, where she developed the foundations of their renowned brunch menu. Now, with the love and support of her friends, Beth has realized her dream of opening her own fine cake and dessert business. We use only the best ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to ensure that your special occasion cakes and desserts not only look beautiful but also taste delicious.
