At Fairwinds Estate Winery, we are proud to share our limited production Napa Valley wine collection with you. Our winery is ideally situated in the hills of Calistoga, nestled in the northern realm of the world-renowned Silverado Trail. Our story begins in 1969, when Thomas Cotrell and Thomas Parkhill, both Silicon Valley engineers, founded the Calistoga winery. Over the years, the winery has been owned and operated by various families, including the Schmidheiny family of Switzerland.
In 2015, Brandon Chaney and Anthony Zabit, both San Francisco entrepreneurs, purchased the majestic winery and introduced the Fairwinds lifestyle brand to the world. With their love of being on the water and "living in the moment, " they crafted a brand that embodies the spirit of adventure and celebrates the beauty of life's journey.
Our Winery
Our winery is nestled in the hillside off the Silverado Trail in the northern realm of Napa Valley. The winery's 22,000 sq. ft. wine cave is a must-visit attraction, offering an immersive experience unlike any other. Lined by thousands of wine barrels, the cave's dining room and intimate alcoves host special events and live musical performances.
Our Proprietors
Brandon Chaney, our Chief Executive Officer, grew up in Indiana and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Anthony Zabit, our Chief Operating Officer, has a background in entrepreneurship and has co-founded several successful businesses.
Our Winemaking Team
Our winemaking team is led by Todd Heth, our Executive Winemaker. Todd has over 20 years of experience in old world wine practices and has garnered numerous awards for his wines. Our winemaking team's passion for fine winemaking is evident in every bottle of wine we produce.
