At Trotter 1/16 Winery, we are a small, independent winery that specializes in crafting nuanced, varietal-specific wines from some of the finest vineyards in Napa Valley, California. Our passion is rooted in the craft of winemaking, and we are committed to creating unique, artisanal wines that showcase the distinctive characteristics of each vineyard.
Our History
Founded in 2011, Trotter 1/16 Winery was born out of a passion for wine and a desire to create something truly unique. Our winemaker, Stephanie Trotter Zacharia, has spent years honing her craft through apprenticeships and training with some of the best winemakers in the industry. We are proud to be one of the few women-owned and operated wineries in Napa Valley.
Our Wine Philosophy
At Trotter 1/16 Winery, we believe that the best wines are those that are crafted with care and attention to detail. We select only the finest grapes from small, dry-farmed vineyards in Napa Valley and age our wines in French and American oak barrels for 28 to 33 months. This slow and deliberate process allows our wines to develop a depth of flavor and complexity that is unmatched in many mass-produced wines.
Our Wines
We offer a range of wines, each showcasing the unique characteristics of its respective vineyard. Our Cabernet Sauvignons, for example, are crafted from grapes grown in the esteemed Coombsville AVA and Oak Canyon Ranch vineyards. Each wine is carefully crafted to reflect the terroir of its respective vineyard and is available for purchase individually or through our wine club.

Our wine club offers exclusive tastings with our winemaker at local restaurants or virtually, as well as private dinner parties in the comfort of your own home.
