Your Premier Dance School in San Jose
Our legacy began in 1978 when Leslie Fields founded Capitol Dance Company with a vision to cultivate artistic excellence and technical mastery. Her daughters Allison Fields and Taylor Fields, who assumed leadership in 2022, continue this tradition with over 30 and 25 years of combined experience in dance education and studio management. Our faculty comprises industry professionals dedicated to fostering growth through diverse dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. We provide structured training programs that balance rigorous technique development with creative expression.

Our students benefit from specialized initiatives like Competition Teams, Master Classes with renowned artists, and annual Performance Awards programs. As stewards of this legacy, we maintain affiliations with prestigious organizations like the American Academy of Ballet. Our commitment to nurturing individual artistry while maintaining technical excellence has made us a cornerstone of the San Jose dance community for over four decades.
