Our History
Founded in 1992 by Dr. Purna Prasad, PAMPA Dance Academy has been exemplary in blending traditional and modern stage design techniques to enthrall audiences, without diluting the purity of the art form. Our vision roots from the mentorship of Vidwan Sri Gopinath Das, a Harikatha (storyteller) and creator of several Indian classical dance dramas.
Our Team
Our team consists of experienced professionals, led by Dr. Purna Prasad, the founder and President of PAMPA, and Nirmala Madhava, our Chief Choreographer and instructor. Nirmala is proficient in both Bharata Natyam and Kathak dance forms and is recognized internationally as a Master solo performer. With a wealth of experience in the field of performing arts, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education and entertainment.
