Amida, Inc. is a leading contract machining and fabricating shop that has built a reputation for providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for complex components. Based in New Holstein, Wisconsin, Amida, Inc. has grown from a humble 1700 square foot facility in the owner's garage to a sprawling facility of over 10,000 sq. ft., with an additional 62,000 sq. ft. available for future growth. Amida Inc. was founded in 2014 by Andrew Gagnon, who brings with him over three decades of experience in the machining industry. Andrew has worked in various roles in the industry, from large, low volume parts to smaller, high volume parts, and has spent many years designing fixtures and tooling for machining and molding industries. He has also worked closely with different types of foundries, sourcing tooling and castings. All of his experiences and passion for the industry led him to start his machine shop, where he can provide customers with precision machined components using the most cost-effective processes available.

At Amida, Inc., we specialize in precision turning and milling, and our services include:

• Swiss Turning: We have Swiss turning capacity up to 3/4" diameter with a sub-spindle, allowing work on both ends of a part to be completed in one operation. Our two sliding headstock turning/milling centers allow us to do Swiss-type turning up to 1-3/8" diameter with less costly non-ground bar stock.
• Milling: We have several Vertical Machining Centers with up to 28" x 18" capacity, and two with full 4th axis capability. This equipment allows us to machine multiple sides of a part in one clamping or multiple parts at one time.
• CNC Machining: We have the latest CNC machines that allow us to produce high-precision components with speed and efficiency. Our machines have 4th axis capabilities, enabling us to machine complex parts with ease.
• Gear Manufacturing: We specialize in the manufacturing of gears, from small, high-precision gears to larger gears used in heavy machinery.
• Prototype Manufacturing: Our rapid prototyping services allow our clients to test their designs before going into full production. We use the latest 3D printing technology to produce high-precision prototypes quickly and efficiently.
• Production Manufacturing: We have the capacity to handle large production runs with ease. Our commitment to production control and quality control ensures that our clients receive high-quality products, on time.
