Stecker Machine Company is a world-class, family-owned CNC machine shop that has been providing innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges for over 50 years. Founded in 1973 by Jerry and Charles Stecker as a tool and die shop, the company has grown and evolved to become a leader in the industry, offering a wide range of services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in various markets.

Capabilities

At Stecker Machine Company, we pride ourselves on our extensive capabilities in CNC machining, value-added services, engineering, quality, sub-contractor services, and foundry partnerships. Our state-of-the-art facility in Manitowoc, WI, is equipped with the latest technology and machinery, enabling us to provide high-precision machined parts to our customers. We have 75 CNC horizontal machining centers, 14 CNC vertical machining centers, and 18 CNC lathes, both horizontal and vertical, with twin spindles and live tooling. Our in-house value-added services include pressure testing, assembly, data matrix, broach, splines, balance, and wash.

History

Stecker Machine Company was founded in 1973 by Jerry and Charles Stecker as a tool and die shop. In 1979, the company purchased its first Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine and inspection equipment. Over the next decade, the company grew and relocated to a new facility just south of Manitowoc, WI, where several additions were made. In 1999, the company grew to over 100 employees. In 2001, the company moved to its current location, known as Plant 1, with 100,000 ft2 for manufacturing and 10,000 ft2 for offices. In 2008, customer demand resulted in the construction of a 45,000 ft2 addition (Bay 5) for storing castings and finished parts. In 2012, the company continued to grow with the construction of a new building.
