Our Approach

Our approach centers around nutrition, but we are freely willing and very capable to expand that circle into things like sleep, alcohol, and exercise. We follow up every session with a detailed email with links to recipes, reminders about what we discussed, and pointers to more to read, which is invaluable.

We take a personalized approach, working with you to develop a plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and health goals. Our process involves an initial consultation, a nutritional assessment, personalized nutrition therapy, and ongoing nutrition therapy.

Initial Consultation

Our first step in working together is an initial consultation, conducted in person or video call. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to understand your health goals, dietary needs, and lifestyle.

Nutritional Assessment

We begin your journey with an assessment of the following Core Imbalances by reviewing labs and your past medical history: Assimilation (digestion, absorption, microbiota/GI, respiration), Defense and Repair (immune function, inflammation, infection), Energy (mitochondrial function, energy regulation), Biotransformation and Elimination (detoxification/toxicity), Transport (cardiovascular and lymphatic systems), Communication (hormones, neurotransmitters), and Structural Integrity (membranes, musculoskeletal).

Personalized Nutrition Therapy

Once we have completed our assessment, we will create a plan with an evidence-based medical approach that best fits your goals, lifestyle, and financial needs.

Ongoing Nutrition Therapy

Together we set a schedule for follow-up meetings to provide consistent support on your health journey.

Hi, I am Caitlin Danz, a Registered Dietitian, Certified LEAP Therapist, and a Level 3 Functional Medicine Nutritionist. My mission is to empower you to live your best life through nourishment that helps strengthen your mind, body, and soul connection. My approach to nutrition is based on the latest science, but nutrition is not one-size-fits-all! That's why I take a personalized approach, working with you to develop a plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and health goals.
