We believe that a biblical worldview is paramount in the counseling process, and we take an integrative approach to treatment, using evidence-based practices and biblical principles.
Our Counseling Services
We offer a range of counseling services, including family counseling, marriage and relationship counseling, pre-marital counseling, and individual counseling for adults, teens, and children. Our experienced therapists are trained to address a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and addiction. We also offer specialized services, such as EMDR therapy, prepare and enrich assessments, and life coaching.

Reviews of New Leaf Counseling
The reviews of New Leaf Counseling, a Christian counseling service, vary in opinion. Criticisms and Controversy arose when a former client, Kristyn Smith Antonucci, expressed her outrage and disapproval of the business. According to Antonucci, the "Biblical Counselor" who runs the business has a son who was arrested for molesting a 7-year-old child on Christmas and continues to support his son. Antonucci strongly condemned this behavior, stating that it is not Christ-like or Biblical, and that she would not support or recommend the business.
Positive Experiences
In contrast, two clients, Steve Ezell and Amanda Pospisil Cook, had overwhelmingly positive experiences with the counseling service. Ezell credited Sean Ruthrauff, the counselor, with helping him recover from addiction, thanking him for his genuine concern and passion for his well-being. Cook and her husband also received excellent Christian marital counseling from Ruthrauff, describing him as down-to-earth and recommendable.
