Unified Martial Arts Academy

For over 29 years, Unified Martial Arts Academy has been dedicated to providing high-quality training for kids and adults in Karate, Ju-jitsu, weapon arts, and fitness kickboxing. Our mission is to empower individuals with the discipline, health benefits, and inner strength gained from martial arts training. Our focus is not on competitions or trophies, but rather on applying the self-discipline and warrior tradition into one's everyday life.

Our Story

Established in 1992, our academy was founded by Sensei Cory Albert, who has over 39 years of martial arts training and 29 years of teaching experience. Sensei Albert holds a black belt in Chinese Kempo, which includes training in Ju-jitsu and Kali, as well as Japanese swordsmanship. He has also studied Zen and meditation at the Jotoku-ji Zen temple in Japan.

Programs

We offer a range of programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Our Little Warriors and Junior Warriors programs are designed for kids aged 6 and up, focusing on developing focus, attention to detail, and confidence. Our Little Warriors / Junior Warriors classes are taught by wife and co-owner, Mrs. Trudi Albert, who holds a black belt in Chinese Kempo, Ju-jitsu, and Filipino Kali.

Fitness Kickboxing

For those seeking a martial arts workout without the formalities of belts and uniforms, our Fitness Kickboxing program is ideal. This non-sparring class develops self-defense skills, improves balance, flexibility, and focus, while also providing a great cardio workout and stress relief. With no contracts or belt testing fees, our kickboxing program is perfect for those looking for a fun and convenient way to get in shape.

Concealed Carry Training

As a USCCA-certified instructor, our Concealed Carry Training program covers all the fundamentals of concealed carry, including situational awareness, defensive shooting, firearm basics, and safety, physiology of fight or flight, and more. This comprehensive course is designed to educate students on the rules of deadly force and provide hands-on practice of proper grip, stance, awareness drills, creating distance, drawing from the holster, and more.
