Since 1953, Idaho Youth Ranch has been a beacon of hope for Idaho's youth and families. Our mission unites us in providing accessible programs that nurture hope, healing, and resilience through emergency shelter, residential care, youth and family therapy, job readiness training, and adoption services. With nearly 70 years of experience, we combine evidence-based therapeutic practices with trauma-informed care to address the complex needs of adolescents aged 9-24. Our Residential Center for Healing & Resilience in Caldwell offers 24-hour psychiatric care in a secure, supportive environment designed to promote holistic healing.

Accredited by The Joint Commission, we maintain rigorous standards for safety and quality patient care across all our programs, including equine therapy and the Hays House youth shelter. Our team of masters-level clinicians and dedicated professionals creates individualized treatment plans that evolve with each adolescent's progress, ensuring comprehensive support for emotional, physical, and educational development. Through community partnerships and our network of thrift stores, we sustainably fund programs that help youth overcome trauma, build life skills, and return to their families and communities with renewed purpose.
