Our Leadership

Our CEO, Luis Miguel, has over 20 years of leadership experience in the translation industry and is passionate about helping clients communicate effectively with immigrants in language they can both understand. As an Airbnb host, Luis loves hosting people from other countries in their Davis home with his cat Gatubela. Our Director of Business Development, Vera Hooijdonk, has 10 years of experience in the translation industry and believes that language matters. In her free time, Vera enjoys traveling, biking, and reading a book in the sun. Our Director of Technology, Jorge Villafuerte, has over 7 years of experience in information technologies, robotics, and electronic security and is enthusiastic about how technology helps build bridges connecting people and cultures. When not working, Jorge loves exploring new cultures while traveling. Our Director of People Operations, Nicole Spyt-James, supports our team through HR, admin, and accounting. In her free time, Nicole enjoys exploring new places and trying new foods.
