Our journey began in 1992 when our founders, Henrik Jensen and Charlotte Kold Christensen, had a vision to bring the essence of Danish design to the world. Our name "Skagen" is inspired by the Danish coastal town of Skagen, known for its stunning natural beauty, where the rolling hills and sandy beaches meet the North Sea. We wanted to capture the essence of this breathtaking landscape in our designs, infusing them with the same freedom, spontaneity, and simplicity that defines Danish culture.
