With a mission to explore the world, one neighborhood at a time, we've spent the past six years traveling the globe, discovering new flavors, and crafting distinctive culinary experiences. Our journey began in 2015 when we set out to explore the San Francisco food scene, neighborhood by neighborhood, person to person.

Our Story

Our story is one of food, family, and creativity. Growing up in a large Portuguese family, I, Chef Derrik Soares, was surrounded by the sights, smells, and tastes of traditional cooking. I developed a passion for cooking at a young age, assisted by my parents, and learned the ins and outs of the business. My entrepreneurial drive led me to start my own food service, Pop Ups Unlimited, with the goal of creating unforgettable dining experiences.
