At Ascension Athletics MMA & BJJ, our mission is to empower individuals of all ages and skill levels to achieve their goals and pursue their dreams through the ancient arts of martial arts. Our Story

Our journey began in 2016, when our founder and head instructor, Jeff Haddad, opened the doors to our academy. With a background in pediatric therapy and occupational therapy, Jeff brings a unique understanding of working with physical and behavioral disabilities to his martial arts instruction. Throughout his training, Jeff has been a two-time IBJJF World Champion and an undefeated professional fighter. His passion and expertise have inspired our team to become one of the most respected martial arts schools in the region.

Our Team

At Ascension Athletics MMA & BJJ, we're proud to have a team of experienced and accomplished instructors, each with their own unique strengths and specialties. From our head instructor, Jeff Haddad, to our other instructors, including Jack Stapleton, Casey Norton, Rob Cole, Glenn Pierce, James Comerford, Kat Torres, Rob Grillo, and Dan Wilcox, our team is dedicated to helping students from all walks of life achieve their goals.

Our Programs

Our Scholarship Program

We believe that martial arts classes should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial constraints. That's why we established the Ascension Scholarship Program, thanks to the generosity of local business donors. This program provides opportunities for families who may not be able to afford martial arts classes.
