At Ted Helm Psychotherapy & Clinical Supervision, we prioritize empowering individuals in their pursuit of mental well-being and personal growth. We provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns, develop coping skills, and cultivate meaningful relationships.

Who We Are

Ted Helm, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), has over 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and clinical supervision. His diverse background and eclectic theoretical approach allow him to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

Individual Therapy

• Addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
• Utilizing a blend of evidence-based methods like psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT).

Group Therapy

• Currently not offering group therapy services.

Clinical Supervision

• Offering individualized supervision to licensed clinicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Combining theoretical knowledge with practical guidance and personalized feedback.

Our office is located in a historic multifamily-style house in Somerville, Massachusetts, near Tufts University and Teele Square. We offer a comfortable and welcoming space that fosters open communication and growth.
