Exceptional Care and Professionalism
Many patients have had exceptional experiences with the providers at Eastover Psych. They praise the providers for being professional, caring, and taking the time to explain their treatment plans. Breaches in Care and Communication
On the other hand, some patients have had negative experiences with Eastover Psych. One patient, Connor McCarthy, had a terrible experience with Dr. Pelucio, who he felt was not qualified to be a psychiatrist. Connor had been struggling with mental health for four years and had called Eastover Psych daily for a month, but was repeatedly told that Dr. Pelucio was booked for weeks. When Connor finally got an appointment with Dr. Pelucio, he felt that the psychiatrist was not interested in his concerns and seemed uncaring.
Another patient, Jaskin Kabir, was unable to schedule an appointment due to issues with the automated receptionist and messaging system.
Contrasting Views on Dr. Gellar
Bill Jackson, one patient, had a negative experience with Dr. Gellar and expressed concerns about the doctor's political beliefs and how they may impact his care. However, this reviewer's experience was not typical of the vast majority of patients who provided positive reviews.
