Black Fire Winery has been a dream come true for owner Michael Wells, who traded in his firefighter's helmet for a winemaker's apron in 2002. With a passion for viticulture and enology, Michael planted 5 acres of grape vines in Lenawee County, becoming the first commercial vineyard in the area. Today, the winery produces a variety of wines, including unique batches, and offers tastings, tours, and live music events in its cozy tasting room. With a focus on quality and community, Black Fire Winery invites visitors to drop by, sample its wines, and become part of the family.
