Friends of Baseball is a non-profit organization that aims to enhance children's lives through baseball and softball. We provide access to programs, scholarships, and resources for underserved youth, empowering them to develop their skills and learn valuable life lessons. Our programs include Full Count RBI Academy, scholarships for youth, coach training, and equipment donations. We strive to create opportunities for every child to have the chance to play and learn, regardless of their financial or social situation.

Batting a Thousand is the perfect place to practice your baseball or softball hitting skills in a fun and relaxed environment! All are welcome - from experienced players to first-timers! We feature 4 indoor batting cages, each with 2 Jugs pitching machines - one for baseball and one for softball. The pitching speeds vary by batting cage - from 40mph, 50mph, 55mph and 60mph for baseball, and 55mph and 65mph for fast pitch softball. Two of the batting cages feature slow pitch (25mph), high arc softball pitches In the back we have a TRAINING TUNNEL, which is flat area great for working on pitching, ground ball work, or tee work (no live batting at this time).

Lil' Kickers is a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program for boys and girls ages 18 months to 9 years. Our nationally renowned child development program offers classes all year long at Portland Indoor Soccer Center (SE Portland) & The Plex (SW Portland/Beaverton). We provide a fun and engaging environment for children to develop fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, and ball control. Our well-trained coaches use creative activities and games to help children master developmental milestones appropriate for their age. With multiple class options available, from Bunnies (18 months-24 months) to Thumpers (2-3 years) and Hoppers (3-5 years), we have a program that's perfect for your child.
