Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to accommodate individual and group practices, as well as team training sessions. Our History
Batting a Thousand was established in 1991, and we have been a staple in the Portland sports community ever since. We are proudly open to the public, and our doors are always welcome to seasoned players and newcomers alike. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every visitor has an enjoyable and productive experience at our facility.
Our Facilities
Our facility features four indoor batting cages, each with two Jugs pitching machines that simulate various speeds, from 40mph to 60mph for baseball and 55mph to 65mph for softball. Two of the cages also feature slow-pitch softball pitches for players who prefer this style of play. We also have a training tunnel with a 1270 square foot flat turf area, perfect for practicing pitching, ground balls, and tee work. Our waiting area is equipped with tables, chairs, arcade games, claw machines, air hockey, and a soda machine to keep visitors entertained while they wait.
