Mental Health America of Illinois is a non-profit organization that has been working to promote mental health, prevent mental illnesses and improve the care and treatment of people suffering from mental and emotional disorders since 1909. Our main focus areas include education, advocacy, and informing the public about mental health issues. We provide mental health services, advocate for policy changes, and reduce the stigma associated with mental illnesses. Our services include mental health screening, addictions, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, child and adolescent depression, eating disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychosis, and suicide prevention.
