The National Surf/SUP Schools & Instructors Association (NSSIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering surf etiquette, water safety, and quality surfing. We provide professional certification for surf schools, surfing instructors, stand-up paddleboard (SUP) instructors, surf coaches, and surf dog instructors. Our certification program is recognized and accepted by the legal and insurance communities, colleges and high schools throughout the US, and in the professional ranks.
