School Readiness Center

For over 40 years, the School Readiness Center has been providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and learn. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff are committed to ensuring that each child's unique needs are met, and that they are provided with a solid foundation for future success.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the unique needs of children aged 2, 3, 4, and 5 years. Our programs are designed to provide a fun and engaging educational experience, while also promoting social, emotional, and physical development.

2 1/2 Year Old Programs

Our 2 1/2 year old program is designed for children who turn 2 by September 1st. This program provides a caring first school experience in a small, nurturing environment. The class size is limited to 14 students with a teacher and an assistant. Through play, we provide many opportunities for social growth and development. Each day, we offer many activities such as painting, play dough, water and sand tables, dress-up, and a variety of manipulative toys. Language development is also incorporated through stories, songs, finger plays, music, and movement.

3, 4, & 5 Year Old Programs

Our 3, 4, and 5 year old programs offer a comprehensive preschool experience, designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Our programs are designed to provide a fun and engaging educational experience, while also promoting social, emotional, and physical development.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children. Our 3,000 square foot school is equipped with modern facilities, including a large outdoor playground with a variety of play equipment.

Our Staff

Our staff are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children. Our teachers and assistants have a minimum of a 4-year degree in Education or a related field. They are also CPR and First Aid certified.

Additional Services

We offer a range of additional services to support the needs of our families. These include:

• Kindergarten Connection: A class designed for children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. We offer small class sizes to ensure that each child receives individual attention.
• Spanish: We incorporate Spanish language learning into our 3, 4, and 5 year old programs.
• Jolly Phonics: We use Jolly Phonics in our reading program to ensure that our children develop a strong foundation in literacy.
• Allergy-Friendly Environment: We are a peanut-free environment, and our staff are trained in using EpiPens.
