Dr. Owen Bargreen, Psy D

Welcome to Bargreen Psychology, the practice of Dr. Owen Bargreen, Clinical Psychologist. I am an Everett, Washington native dedicated to helping others overcome their challenges and improve their lives. I have extensive experience and training in clinical psychology. I received my clinical Psy. D. from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, in 2007, and my masters of arts in psychology from the same institution in 2005. I graduated from Whitman College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in History. I am also the author of the book "MMPI-2 Personality Profiles of Male Victims of Domestic Violence, " published in 2009 and available on Amazon.com.

In addition to my private practice, I have served as a researcher, associate professor, and evaluator for various organizations. From 2005-2007, I served on a research team for school violence prevention, and I have been evaluating police officers and fire employees for over a decade. I have also taught a variety of psychology classes at Trinity Lutheran College for five years.

• Therapy: Therapy sessions last 45-60 minutes, and my rate is $250.00 per hour. During therapy sessions, I work with individuals to understand their problems and develop strategies to change or correct them, leading to a healthier and more satisfying life. Some common issues I help treat include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work injuries, sleep problems, weight issues, stress, trauma, and sexual problems.
• Assessment: I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for a variety of purposes. These assessments can help individuals and organizations gain a better understanding of an individual's strengths, weaknesses, and needs. I have experience providing assessments for business and law enforcement purposes, as well as ability to work evaluations for the State of Washington and evaluations for mental disability for the Social Security Administration.
• Bargreen Professional Athlete Sound Mind Project: I am proud to offer the Bargreen Professional Athlete Sound Mind Project, a treatment program specifically designed for current and former professional athletes. This program helps athletes address relationship issues, anger, depression, and anxiety, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive both on and off the field.
• Psychological Assessment for Business: I provide psychological assessments for businesses to help them make informed decisions about hiring, promotion, and other employment-related matters. These assessments can provide valuable insight into an individual's personality, cognitive abilities, and work style, helping businesses build strong, effective teams.
• Psychological Assessment of Law Enforcement: I have extensive experience evaluating law enforcement personnel, and I provide comprehensive psychological assessments to help law enforcement agencies make informed decisions about hiring, promotion, and other employment-related matters. These assessments can help ensure that law enforcement agencies have the right people in the right roles, promoting public safety and effective law enforcement.
