Meet the Team Behind Surfhouse

At Surfhouse, we're more than just a hotel; we're a family. Our team is made up of locals who are passionate about sharing the authentic California experience with our guests. From our co-founders Nikki and Sander to the rest of our team, we're dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring that every guest leaves feeling like a part of the community.

Nikki, our co-founder, brings years of hospitality experience to Surfhouse, along with a degree in tourism and hotel management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After spending seven months traveling South America, Nikki was inspired to open his own surf hotel, and he's been instrumental in creating the unique experience that Surfhouse offers.

Sander, our other co-founder, has nearly a decade of entrepreneurial experience and has founded several successful local businesses. A graduate of USD, Sander is also a full-time local Realtor in Encinitas, making him a great resource for guests who are looking to make a move to San Diego.
