Our Story

Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop started humbly - with boxes of ingredients and boundless enthusiasm - in a single studio kitchen in Boston back in 2008. Amanda Oakleaf, our founder, poured her passion for baking and art into every creation, quickly exceeding the needs of her initial space. By the spring of 2010, fueled by overwhelming demand and with Tyler Oakleaf by her side, the couple opened their first storefront in Winthrop, MA. That bakery thrived, proving there was a place for handcrafted quality in a world increasingly reliant on convenience. Due to the continued growth and enthusiastic customer base, Oakleaf Cakes expanded once more in 2013, settling into its current location in Boston, right next to Symphony Hall.
