Richard Podolin, Ph. D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 34 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate a range of mental and physical health challenges. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Tufts University in 1981 and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 1985. Following his education, Dr. Podolin completed his Predoctoral Internship at the East Orange, New Jersey Veterans Administration Medical Center and his Postdoctoral Residency at the Rockbridge, Virginia Area Community Services Board, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings.

During this time, he served as a consulting psychologist with the Maryland Neurological Institute and was on the staff of Anne Arundel Medical Center, further expanding his expertise in treating a diverse range of patients. In 2020, Dr. Podolin relocated to Aiken, South Carolina, where he continues to offer his expertise to individuals and couples seeking therapeutic support. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Podolin enjoys an active lifestyle, engaged in tennis, golf, triathlons, kayaking, and photography, reflecting a dedication to holistic well-being.
