The Founders
Hans Zandee and Harry Eijsermans, our founders, honed their craft in the traditional European art of cake design and baking in their native Holland. Their international expertise, gained from working on cruise ships and renowned hotels worldwide, has shaped their unique and innovative style.
A New Chapter
In 1991, Hans and Harry established Hans & Harry's Bakery, and over the years, their reputation for exceptional pastries and cakes grew in the San Diego community. In 2015, Hans gracefully retired and passed the torch to Sumi Campbell, a skilled baker and entrepreneur who joined Harry as a co-owner.
