Expert MDT Physical Therapy in North Texas
Lonestar Rehabilitation was founded in 2003 with a mission to deliver exceptional musculoskeletal care through the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Our practice operates three locations in North Texas, where all treatments are conducted one-on-one by licensed physical therapists. We exclusively utilize MDT, a biopsychosocial system emphasizing patient empowerment and self-management strategies for acute, subacute, and chronic conditions. Our team includes certified MDT practitioners with advanced training, including international diploma programs and postgraduate studies.

We prioritize continuity of care by assigning a single therapist to each patient throughout their treatment journey. Our approach focuses on addressing patient-specific needs rather than standardized treatment protocols. With over two decades of combined clinical expertise, our therapists have contributed to published case studies and academic research while maintaining active roles in professional education. We serve as a trusted resource for both patients and healthcare providers seeking evidence-based musculoskeletal solutions.

Services
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy services utilize the McKenzie Method for comprehensive musculoskeletal care. We treat spinal and extremity conditions through individualized treatment plans focused on mechanical diagnosis and patient empowerment. Our approach emphasizes self-management strategies to reduce dependency on clinical interventions.
MDT Assessment
The McKenzie Method assessment identifies mechanical patterns in musculoskeletal conditions. This systematic evaluation determines optimal treatment strategies through movement-based classifications. Our certified therapists use this diagnostic framework to create targeted rehabilitation programs for acute and chronic conditions.
Spine Rehabilitation
Specialized spine rehabilitation addresses cervical, thoracic, and lumbar conditions using mechanical diagnosis principles. Our therapists develop progressive exercise programs combined with posture correction techniques to alleviate pain and improve spinal function through non-invasive methods.
Extremity Treatment
Our extremity treatment focuses on shoulder, knee, ankle, and other joint conditions using mechanical diagnosis principles. We implement targeted mobilization techniques and functional exercises to restore mobility and reduce pain in upper and lower extremities.
Patient Education
Patient education programs teach self-management techniques for long-term musculoskeletal health. We provide instruction on proper movement patterns, ergonomic adjustments, and home exercise programs to prevent recurrence and maintain treatment outcomes.
