Founded by three families, our winery is a culmination of a lifelong journey to cultivate lasting relationships and produce wines that express the true nature of the vineyards themselves.
The Team
Our team is composed of three families, each bringing their unique perspectives and expertise to the table. Frank Dotzler, a true romancer of wine, acquired a 20-acre parcel and set out to make a dream come true, naming the place True Vineyard. Mark Pulido and Donna Walker, raised in pharmacy families, approached winemaking with a scientific curiosity and a belief that patience, discipline, and determination are essential to creating great wines. Thomas Rivers Brown, a renowned winemaker, joined the team, bringing his expertise and passion for creating unique, terroir-driven wines.

We believe in empowering the grape, allowing the natural flavors to shine through, and then refining the wine with a gentle touch.

Our wine portfolio comprises a range of Limited Production wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Each wine is carefully crafted to showcase the depth of flavor and quality fruit found in the coveted Napa Valley.

Nestled in the scenic foothills of Howell Mountain, we invite guests to visit and explore our portfolio of limited-production wines. Mending Wall honors a tradition of simple winemaking, showcasing the depth of flavor and quality fruit found in the coveted Napa Valley. Conveniently located minutes from both downtown St Helena and Calistoga on the historic Silverado Trail, we welcome guests by appointment Tuesday - Saturday | 10:00am - 3:00pm.
Tastings
We offer two unique tasting experiences: the Estate Tasting and the Collector's tasting. The Estate Tasting features a flight of current release wines sourced from premium Napa Valley vineyards, while the Collector's tasting showcases a rare selection of premium single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons. Guests may opt to elevate their tasting experience with a curated cheese pairing.
