The Livonia Hockey Association (LHA) is a proud member of the community, dedicated to providing recreational opportunities for the youth of Livonia and beyond. Our mission is to promote citizenship, fellowship, and physical welfare through the medium of ice hockey. We are committed to fostering good sportsmanship, developing players' skills, and cultivating a love for the game in a safe and fun environment.
About the Livonia Hockey Association
The Livonia Hockey Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving the community for many years. Our dedicated volunteers are committed to providing a positive learning experience for all boys and girls, regardless of their skill level. We believe that winning is secondary to the molding of future adults who are ready to contribute positively to our community.
Our Programs
The LHA offers a range of programs to meet the needs of our players. We have programs for beginning skaters, as well as opportunities for those who wish to pursue more competitive environments. Our programs are designed to be fun, safe, and engaging, with qualified adult leadership and a focus on skill development.
One of our most popular programs is the Compassionate Fund, which helps families in need cover the costs of hockey. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to play hockey, regardless of their financial situation.
Our Teams
The Livonia Hockey Association is home to the Livonia Knights and the Livonia Girls Hockey programs. Our teams are coed and girls teams, ranging from ages 6 to 19. We are proud to announce our travel coaches for the 2024/2025 season, including Kris Medico, Derek Borowiak, Chris Lagerstrom, Craig Lipson, Brad Sparks, Joe Coogan, Brad Larsh, Steve Cordle, Jon Venegoni, and Mike Featherngill.
Awards and Accomplishments
The Livonia Hockey Association is proud to have been named the Association of the Year Winner for 2022/2023. We are also honored to have had Duke Fitzgerald win the Wes Danielson Award. Our Peewee B Knights were district 4 champions in the same year. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, and volunteers.
