Milan Youth Soccer Club

The Milan Youth Soccer Club is a reputable organization serving the Milan community and its surrounding areas. Established with the aim of fostering a love for soccer in the youth, the club has grown to serve over 300 players, catering to ages 2 through 18. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, affordable soccer program that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect, as well as promoting the physical, mental, and social development of our young players.

Our Services

The club offers a variety of services geared towards nurturing the growth of our young soccer players. Our programs are divided based on age and skill level, outlined below.

• Futures (Ages 2-5): An introductory program designed for young soccer enthusiasts, instilling the basic concepts of the game in a fun and engaging manner.

• Developmental Rules: For players aged 6-8, this program builds on the fundamental skills and further encourages sportsmanship and teamwork through age-appropriate rules and structured practices.

• Storm Academy: This program combines professional training with team practices and matches for players aged 9-14, with the goal of achieving a balance between personal growth and team success.

• Southeast Michigan STORM (Travel) Club: A competitive league for advanced players, the SE Michigan STORM provides the opportunity to compete at higher levels, building valuable life skills like leadership, time management, and self-discipline.

• Adult League: An open league for those aged 15 and above, promoting friendly competition, sportsmanship and an inclusive environment.

• Socctober: A unique and engaging 4-week soccer clinic that takes place during the month of October, providing additional opportunities for skills development.

Coaching and Volunteerism

The Milan Youth Soccer Club is proud to have an extensive network of dedicated volunteer coaches, who are instrumental in instilling a love for the game and emphasizing values such as good sportsmanship and teamwork. We welcome those interested in coaching or assisting coaches, regardless of prior experience - all we require is enthusiasm and a genuine care for the players.

• To foster the physical, mental and social development of our youth by promoting high effort, collaboration and fair play.
• To promote high quality volunteer coaching while providing first-rate facilities and equipment.
• To function in an atmosphere of communication, volunteerism, and participation with parents.
• To provide the best teams possible to compete in local leagues, at the high school level, and in tournaments.
• To strive to teach both fundamental and advanced soccer techniques.
• To help players reach their full potential, both as an athlete and an individual.
• To serve as the primary booster for the Milan High School soccer program and sponsor various projects.
