Honeybaked Youth Hockey

Welcome to the HoneyBaked Hockey Club, where we strive to provide a world-class developmental and competitive hockey experience for all our players. Our mission statement emphasizes individual and team skills, physical and mental training, conceptual development, nutritional awareness, elite competition, and respect for the athletes and sport.

Our Leadership

Our leadership team is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our players. Our Hockey Operations Manager, Jeff Lerg, is always available to assist with any questions or concerns. For girls' hockey, our Director, Bud Simon, ensures that all our female players receive the support and guidance they need to succeed. Additionally, our Program Administrator, Jen Mclelland, is on hand to handle all administrative tasks.

Player Advancement

We are proud to have seen over 50 of our players go on to play in the NHL, including notable names such as Patrick Kane, Alec Martinez, Bryan Rust, Torey Krug, Cam Fowler, and Bobby Ryan. Furthermore, over 300 of our players have moved on to play at the NCAA level, including notable names like Jeff Lerg, Rutger McGroarty, Trey Augustine, Zach Schulz, Andie Anastos, Callie Shanahan, and many more. We also have over 60 U.S. National Team alumni, including notable names such as Megan Keller, Andy Miele, Jim Slater, Taylor Girard, Kirsten Simms, and Tyler Martyniuk.

Teams and Services

We offer a wide range of teams for players of all ages and skill levels, from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Our teams include options for boys and girls, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to develop their skills and compete at the highest level. Additionally, we offer specialized coaching applications for those looking to advance their skills further.

Partners and Resources

We are proud to partner with organizations such as Suburban Sports Group, Suburban Ice Farmington Hills, Suburban Hockey Schools, and USA Hockey. These partnerships allow us to provide our players with access to top-notch facilities, training programs, and coaching staff. Furthermore, we offer resources such as Athlete Academy and Athlete Lab, which provide additional training and support for our players.
