Begin Your Journey to Happiness
Welcome to my practice! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) dedicated to empowering individuals and families on their journey toward mental well-being, I offer a warm and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My path to becoming a social worker was guided by a deep-seated desire to help others navigate life's complexities. Having practiced since 2011, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with both my Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees, consistently focusing my studies on counseling techniques and approaches.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a wide range of challenges. From individuals coping with chronic illness and grief to those experiencing mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma, I have developed a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy. I believe in tailoring my treatment to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered.
My training encompasses various evidence-based therapies, including solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, grief therapy, and most recently, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These modalities provide a framework for addressing a variety of presenting concerns in a structured and effective manner. Throughout our journey together, my commitment is to create a safe space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. My primary goal is to collaborate with you to identify your personal strengths and resources, enabling you to develop coping mechanisms, achieve your goals, and build a fulfilling life.
