Our Services

We offer a wide range of counseling services, including individual counseling, marriage and family therapy, trauma-specific services, EMDR, hypnoanalysis, and court-related services such as evaluations for custody and adoption, parent facilitation, supervised visitation, and reunification assistance. Additionally, we provide services for individuals dealing with substance abuse, as well as counseling for those in foster care or with open CPS cases.

Our Story

Alamo Heights Counseling was founded in 2010 by Cherie Shulter as a solo practice, and has since grown to become a small practice of 13 providers and three full-time office employees. We're proud to be a locally owned and operated practice, with a team of counselors who are passionate about providing exceptional mental health services to the greater San Antonio area.
